St. Bairui is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales and service of high-precision diamond tools. The company independently develops and produces various diamond tools. The diamond saw blade is mainly composed of two parts: the steel core and the segment. The diamond segment plays a cutting role during use. It contains diamonds, which can cut and rub against the processed object, but the diamond segment will be continuously consumed as the cutting material is cut. The steel core does not, and the steel core is the supporting part of the main purpose bonded cutter head.

A diamond saw blade is a saw blade which has diamonds fixed on its edge for cutting hard or abrasive materials. There are many types of diamond blade, and they have many uses, including cutting stone, concrete, asphalt, bricks, coal balls, glass, and ceramics in the construction industry; cutting semiconductor materials in the semiconductor industry; and cutting gemstones, including diamonds, in the gem industry.

Diamond Saw Blade - Manufacturing Process
In terms of manufacturing process, diamond saw blades are mainly divided into the following three types:
Welding diamond saw blades, which are divided into laser welding and high-frequency welding:
Laser welding is to melt the contact edge of the diamond segment and the steel core through a high-temperature laser beam, and then weld them together. In high-frequency welding, there is a layer of medium between the diamond segment and the steel core, and then the medium is melted, and the two parts are welded together.
Sintered diamond saw blade:
Divided into hot-press sintering and cold-press sintering.
Electroplating diamond saw blade:
The blade powder is attached to the substrate by electroplating.

Diamond saw blades are heat treated and hardened to 64/65 HRC for ferrous cutting applications and 58/60 HRC for non-ferrous cutting applications. This high hardness gives the cutting edges of the teeth a high resistance to heat and wear. However, this increased hardness also makes the blades brittle and not very resistant to shock.
In order to produce a high quality diamond saw blade, you must start with very flat and properly tensioned raw material. The blades must be press quenched after hardening to prevent them from being warped. These blades are usually never run at surface speeds higher than 350 SFM.
The products can be applied to a variety of cutting equipment: bridge cutting machines, hand push cutting machines, infrared cutting machines, five-axis cutting machines and hand saws and other stone processing equipment.

Tips for Using Diamond Saw Blades
Diamond saw blades are powerful, so it's essential to handle them with caution. Learning to safely use diamond blades is the first step to making the most out of this impressive tool. Check out these important tips for using diamond blades:
Use protective gear: Before using your diamond blades, you need to get the correct protective equipment. Essential safety gear on construction sites consists of a blade guard, dust mask, protective eyewear, a helmet, ear defenders, work boots, safety gloves and high-visibility clothing.
Choose the right blade: Determine what material you're cutting and whether you want a rough or fine cut. Once you understand your specific application, choose a diamond blade that's right for the job.
Understand dry and wet cutting: Dry cutting with a blade that requires water can be dangerous, so it's essential to understand when you can cut materials dry. If in doubt, review the manufacturer's specification. Additionally, using a dry cutting technique can cause harmful silica dust to accumulate so make sure to always wear the correct mask protection.
Inspect and maintain your blades: Thoroughly inspect your saw and blades before you start to cut. When examining the blade, look for impairments such as cracks, chips, gouges, or missing tips. While it's normal to have some wear and tear, missing segments or damaged blades can slow down your work and become serious safety hazards.
